I've just read a posting by Andy Summers and would like to point out that for what it's worth...
Ian Pritchard did NOT write the following, and is completely contrary to my views.

What Ian Pritchard actually thinks is that computer entries should be mandatory and I said..

"It seems obvious to me that we should move to mandatory E-mail entries for those stations who wish to be in the rankings. Those who wish to send in other logs can get a still get a mention as participants."

I have no idea how the first statement was wrongly attributed to me.
