Yes, well done to all involved. I was impressed with the comms. I asked the
80m SSB station for a freq and was immediately passed it. I requested the
same of 9A0HQ and LY0HQ but neither knew what their other stations were
doing. As I didn't have a huge amount of time for this contest I worked my
way through GB5HQ getting 12 band/modes quite quickly, then did the same
with 9A0HQ, then LY0HQ. I failed both those, getting only 11 band/modes. I
missed 9A0HQ on 160m SSB and LY0HQ on 10m SSB. I felt that they possed a
lesser risk to GB5HQ than if I had worked say DA0HQ. The only other 2 Q's I
made were with 9M2/G4ZFE and G3BJ.
I had no antenna for 15m so at 1500 I sat down at the PC and designed a 3
ele on a 12ft boom in YA/YO. By 1547 I had made it, by 1630 it was at 45ft
and I had worked my first 15m station. This makes me wonder if there is
scope for a contest in which you have to build the antenna(s) within the
time allowed! (Or was that NFD?).

Congratulations to all involved in the organisation and operation of GB5HQ.

Most times I heard the various stations they were busy and there seemed to
be
plenty of UK stations calling in to help the score along, thanks to Dave
BUO's
publicity.

I was pleased to get you guys on all twelve band/mode slots, though a couple

of the QSOs were a bit close to ESP, let alone DSP. Martin G3ZAY was at my
QTH as well and added ten slots before he had to leave for home. Anything
that
can get WGV on SSB and ZAY on CW must have something going for it!
