Hello All,

Late with this, but whatever.....

Bit of a catastrophe from here, I did make *some* QSOs  (ermm, a dozen in
fact), but could have done a LOT better !   Ho Humm...

Decided, at the very last minute, to run PSK31 with Writelog.  Not a good
move, not the programme itself per se, as A.N.Other reported to me later
that for him it worked reasonably well.   Anyway, after making a single
contact at 20:01 and nothing at all for the next twenty minutes (!) I gave
it up as a bad job and booted into DX4WIN instead.   Well, at least that has
a PSK31 module, (although not really designed for "contest" use); plus a
"waterfall" which, for me anyway, made tuning *much* easier.

I scratched around a bit, called on or two and even braved an odd CQ, only
to be called by some SP who insisted on telling me what his rig, antenna,
computer , software and date-of-birth were.  Jeez, contest - wot contest?

So, a dozen Qs (WOW!) all PSK31.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll try RTTY next time.

OTOH.....
