Well I am one of the 'little pistols'! I had already made the 
decision that I would not be taking this one seriously, taking into 
account conditions on the days leading up to it. My other commitments 
meant I was literally only in the shack for the first hour and a few 
random minutes at other times. That was enough to confirm my decision 
not to change my plans! (and I had ZERO QSOs!).

The clash with WAG is the biggest problem as they are totally 
incompatible contests (ie they work DLs only, ours work Gs only). Any 
casual contesters would have already committed themselves to WAG. A 
change of weekend at least would seem logical, and although in 
general I disapprove of dual mode contests it does almost seem 
sensible in this case. Declining sunspots do not bode well for the 
coming years whatever we do.

I will leave it to HFCC to make the decisions.
