With regard to stations sending the call before the exchange: They are
probably using SD for the first time, with SD the macro is set to send the
call first this is the default setting. Not necessary a bad thing, in a
heavy qrm situation you do know at least that you are working that station.
Some of our high flying operators think that they are in CQ WW and forget
that this is a contest attracting new operators.  You can of course edit the
macro.
