Hi Chris et al

Conditions not too good to JA from here for JIDX CW.  Made a few QSOs in the 
Eu Sprint but stations kept pinching my frequency  ;-)

I made an RS232 interface for my TS850 and the 9-pin DIN connections were :
2       TxD
3       RxD
5       Gnd
7       RTS
8       CTS
Most of the problems with 9-pin RS232 seem to be the wiring of Pins 2 and 3, 
whether they cross-over in the cable or not....maybe the ID above is 
incorrect for pins 2 and 3 but it works.
