Peter G3LET - I was surprised and disappointed to read your comments about 
GB5HQ - your qualified apology does not impress me either. Could I tactfully 
suggest that you don't have a clue as to how much is involved in the GB5HQ 
infrastructure and should perhaps have waited before posting to this 
reflector ?

At our 40m SSB GB5HQ station, we did have a less experienced operator on the 
mic for about 45 minutes - at a quieter time - this may or may not have cost 
us a few QSOs, but this operator had helped for many hours with the 
unglamorous setting-up work.

Until 7 years ago, no-one was interested in operating GB5HQ - it is now 
evolving rapidly and performing better each year in a difficult mid-summer 
contest. I would expect changes and additions to the stations involved next 
year and in subsequent years.
