I almost entirely agree with Peter (G3LET);
where I disagree is the initial CQ. If the initial CQ is clearly eliciting 
contest QSOs then it must not start until 2000. This is quite different from 
calling CQ at any time before the contest for a "normal" QSO.

I have just seen Andy (GM8OEG) comment about 21:29:50; no, it is perfectly 
possible to exchange 599snr in ten seconds maybe not at 12wpm but certainly 
at 30wpm.
