Well done to the adjudication team. To process the record 1524 logs in 40
days is a formidable achievement.
Congratulations to the UK/EI guys who came top of the heap in all sections.
Having experienced the conditions that weekend I appreciate the work, skill
and effort required to be up there at the top. Certainly something for the
rest of us to work towards!
Like Dave I received a screed of emails for the logs I typed up. Those who
submit logs on paper certainly seem disadvantaged. Having checked a few of
my paper log entries the worst so far is the loss of 35% of the claimed
score! It was hard typing the logs into SDI only typing what was in the log
and not automatically giving credit for the missing IOTA Ref which SDI so
excellently provides. Our UBN at MM0Q showed a loss of 6%, 30 Qs/5 mults,
mostly silly callsign errors and obvious serial number errors. Need to check
the log more thoroughly next time.
Current thoughts for next year swing wildly between the Isle of Wight/Summer
Isles and SO2R/multi-op. Less than ten months to go so need to start
planning NOW!
