I'm not so anti as you Dave because I gain a lot of information such as 
propagation and band openings from the Cluster. It used to be fun but 
disciplined.
Cap'n Beaky (G4BKI) putting out his list of top spotters. G3WGV running 
his countries table. Knuckles rapped if you digressed the Cluster code.

It seems to have degenerated over the last 3 years or so. So rather than 
one spot from Eu, everyone spots when they have worked a station, or 
even to say they haven't. Then you get the Thankers.  Thanks for the 
QSO. Why??

It's good if you cut out the chaff, but jeez, there is so much of it 
now. Too much for the sysops to get involved I guess.
