[UK-CONTEST] Ofcom Lifetime Licence Dates?

Hello All

I was following the Ofcom thread and decided to put this question to the group (although there may be a simple answer).

After creating my licence and looking at the PDF, the "Issue Date" is correct as the day I created the licence on-line. However, the "First Issue Date" is a date in 2005.

My licence was first issued in 1983 so why would that happen? Indeed, does it really matter? :-)

Any thoughts?
