[UK-CONTEST] Commonwealth contest scoring query

Although I can no longer take part in BERU (until Aquitaine restores its former position!) I did, for many years, have the pleasure of checking BERU as a member of the HFCC.

The apparent anomolies in the quoted scores of VE3EJ and ZC4LI result from deductions for errors. So VE3EJ's claimed score was 7715 but he lost 156 points in checking resulting in a final score of 7559. Likewise, ZC4LI would have claimed 6760, lost 93 points in checking and ended up with 6667.

It's worth mentioning that RSGB was fully checking contests for decades before the advent of Cabrillo and computer logging. I well remember late evenings at Doughty Street, (even Little Russell Street!) and various HFCC members homes checking the major contests such as NFD.
