Are you sure it's the monitor? If it has an external SM PSU it might be 
that, and you may find that by moving it or shielding it, you can cut 
the noise down.

I have a 17in NEC flat screen monitor with internal PSU, it's fine at 
home but G4iFB and I found when we tried to use it on NFD that it was a 
bit noisy on 20. We attached a ground wire to one of the screws on the 
back and that made a big difference.
