[UK-CONTEST] IOTA 2008, a wee bit of poor operating (IMHO)

Thanks for the QSOs from GM2T - we also had great weather on Benbecula - for 
the whole 3 days. Some excellent pile-ups from EU-010.

Quoting from the IOTA rules :
9. PENALTIES
Points may be deducted, or entrants disqualified, for violation of the rules 
or the spirit of the contest. This includes, for example,    *   refusal by 
IOTA island stations to make contacts with their own country when requested 
*   , use of a third party to make contacts on a list or net, working CW 
multipliers on an SSB frequency, failing to observe the contest-preferred 
band segments, or not giving the IOTA reference for every contact. The 
decision of the IOTA Contest Manager and RSGB HF Contests Committee is final 
in all matters of dispute.

This *seems* to specifically address the case you mention, but do you have 
evidence (not sure what evidence would consist of, other than repeated audio 
recordings?) - you would have to be 100% sure that the mult you were calling 
genuinely could not hear you, which may be impossible to prove. The GM7V 
team have never experienced this in past IOTA contests.
