Looks like the technology has gone full circle - the computer has been 
able to send our CW for years and the receive side is now taken care of 
too.

Too late for this year's NFD, but how about incorporating a "No 
computer" option for stations in the 2009 event, hence:-

1) All sending to be done with a key (only straight? or semi-
automatic? or keyer?)
2) All logging and checklogging to be done on paper, and
3) 1.5 (say) x existing points claimed for the extra effort and skill 
involved

Submissions to be made as per existing arrangements ie keying (post-
contest) in Cabrillo and submitting via e-mail.
