[UK-CONTEST] CW Skimmer Question

I HAVE A FAVOUR TO ASK of you, John : COULD YOU INQUIRE AT YOUR CLUB IF ANYONE IS USING CW SKIMMER?
I have a specific question : I know the Skimmer is great for contesting, where signals are strong, but how is it for dx working when sigs are just a few dB over the noise?
I am beginning to have doubts about this application.  I notice on my Panadapter that I can copy, by ear, CW signals at the noise level and they don't show up on the screen. These low sigs are, of course, the interesting ones. If CW Skimmer doesn't work for weak sigs then it is no good to me.
