Why is it then you do not have to be member of the RSGB to enter the AFS contests?only the club has to be affiliated, its a team contest just like the CC so why is it treated differently.
In answer to David many hams transmit on a very low budget, our club have members who are on disability or out of work. It is so easy if you are in a sound financial position to make those statements.
BTW I have been a member and supporter of the RSGB for many years, and I fight their corner at our club meetings where we have some narrow minded individuals who think we can manage without them.
