Hi David

Nowhere did I say we shouldn't try to get 1500watt licences. But if we 
don't find a way of keeping the cheats down to 1.5kW we could still be 
at a 6Db disadvantage.

In recent times I have entered CQWW SSB in the Low Power category from 
home, for the reason you give: I do not feel I can be competitive on 
phone. Power differences seem to matter less on CW.
