Hi all,
I've been watching this thread with interest too - but for a different
reason. My local club, Kingdom Amateur Radio Society started a year ago
this January. We are located at the Scout Headquarters for Scotland and
liase closely with the Scouts. We have been trying to obtain a length
of heliax or similar to bury to our 40ft versatower. The impression
given in many of the replies in this discussion is that it is easy to
get surplus heliax but we have been trying for about 9 months with no
success at all. The cable run is through very wet ground and RG213
would not last for long.

Maybe we are not asking in the right places - Does anybody know where we
might get some with appropriate connectors?

Thanks
Alex, GM3ZBE
