Thanks for the replies everyone both reflected and direct.
And thanks for the program Paul; I have it on a couple of machines but am
more proficient with another one at present so I need to give SD more
attention in future events.

Not when you use a contest logger. The Cabrillo
format, now generally accepted, has no provision for
indicating points, mults or dupes in contest QSOs.
It is the responsibility of the the contest organisers
to independently score logs, and identify dupes.

Yes - that's all you have to do. However, most contest
loggers automatically score dupes as zero and the
claimed score will reflect this.
