Subject: Short contest calls
This has probably been answered somewhere in the posts, but I am still confused on what is happening with the SCC.
If it is a club (Strumble Head DXCG) and we have only had the call a couple of years do we have to re-apply for the call? It is used about 3 or 4 times per year from the "club house" and then aired by myself in the RTTY contests from my home.
We have had limited success with the calls, a couple of band winning scores in the CQWW DX SSB contest, a world 3rd in the CQWPX SSB contest, and a band winner in a RTTY contest (as M9W), and last year we probably would have had a high placing in the IOTA contest.
But as I say having only had the call since 2007, and only used the call in a couple of contests do we have to reapply?
