The minutes of the IARU Region 1 meeting in Vienna this weekend have been published.
The French proposal to ban scheduling within VHF, UHF and Microwave IARU Region 1 contests failed and alternative proposals were withdrawn.
The REF proposal received just there own support, one abstention from Italy and voted against by all other representatives including the RSGB whose DX-Cluster/ON4KST ban in RSGB VHF/UHF contests was used as an example by REF.
The decision will be ratified by the Executive Committee at a later date.
