For those who have had a problem accessing the new home page with Chrome 
browser, the good news is that it is now fixed.

Inexplicably ( at the time) it worked OK in IE but not Chrome. I'm told 
that this was due to the sysop not configuring the data for the DNS 
server correctly, about which IE didn't care, but at which Chrome threw 
a wobbly.

However, at the last count the low level ping and tracert commands still 
fail. I'm advised that sysops often disable these commands to foil 
spoofers, spammers and phishers ( isn't the vocabulary wonderful?: 
NOT!), which I must say seems to be trying to make a right from two 
wrongs, but then I don't really do computers, so I could be talking a 
load of old tosh ( again).
