As they say in panto 'Oh no it isn't'. As Ed mentioned it is now
very easy to use an SDR receiver and a computer to record the whole of
the contest band for the whole of the contest period (subject only to
there being sufficient space on the hard drive).
Detecting rubber clocking becomes easy peasy. You just replay the
recording and tune in to each signal that continues beyond the end time
to see who it was.
