Chris,

I think you'll find that as from this year, the CC have addressed this 
problem of where you lost points. I think you may have to ask for it, but it 
will be available.

Would someone from CC correct me if I've read this wrong, or it may be only 
for VHF and up. But I've definitely seen it.

As for your other concerns, I can understand your frustration. Maybe these 
points will be addressed  now they are getting aired on here. Points 1 & 3 
certainly need looking at, and there are ways of mitigating point 2.

Let's see what comes up on here in the way of suggestions.
