I wasn't going to join in his thread at all , since I am not participating
this year.

Since it looks like the Committee are going to have to look at the rules
again, there are a few things that need to be considered:

- How is the use of skimmer specified in the concurrent EU events? If
required, how will they modify their rules?
- Whatever changes we make, should this be a catalyst for trying to align
our scoring system (and hence strategy!) along with theirs?

DARC take the lead in defining EU rules, and indeed tabulate the results
including anyone that sends their log in (usually to DK2OY). Most other
countries align themselves to this definition. Top UK teams can do well in
the EU standings, but could do even better with the same strategy !
