I agree with Bob - go for erp. It is fairer and you dont get the situation
like some find themselves where they dont fit any section.

To get an extra 3dB or so you generally have to double the length of the
antenna or add a second one. The AR rules allow you to do the former but
not the later. Not all of us can fit a 10m long antenna over our property,
I am limited to about 2m but I could easily stack two vertically. I havent
as then I have to enter Open.

The issue will be at what level you set the erp for AR. My guess would be
2.5kW refered to isotropic which would cater for most typical antennas with
100W in. To allow for someone with an m2 or similar you would have to raise
it to 5kW or so. Of course this means you no longer have to take the feeder
loss into account unless you have 400W!!!
