Dead right, Steve.

Also, if we split the reflectors it will cripple any discussion of 
topics that affect contesting as a whole.

The prime example right now is the proposal to split the CC into 
specialist HF and VHF+ subcommittees, within one overall CC that has 
responsibility for consistency in policies and levels of service. That 
proposal has support from both HF and VHF+ contesters... but if we split 
the reflector we will throw away any possibility of showing that support 
effectively.
