Whilst the introduction of more sections might please some, be careful 
what you wish for! Whilst DARC's Rules are shorter than ours, they are 
in some ways considerably more restrictive than those of RSGB.

In particular, only ONE TX/RX is allowed, irrespective of which section 
is entered,  thus no second "mult-hunting" RX is permitted in either 
Field Day. In RSGB CW NFD this year our ability to use two interlocked 
TXs was a real step forward allowing innovation. We always have a search 
RX in SSB FD.  All /verboten/ by DARC.

Under DARC Rules all stations must be more than 100m from inhabited 
buildings or power lines - this would probably rule out Sites used by 
many of our entrants.

Harmonisation of the Rules (particularly scoring) would be welcome - but 
not wholsale adoption of the German version.
