Some have recently given reasons why some Rovers stay in Rover rather than go to Unlimited Rover.  Ability to obtain a top score in the category was one item mentioned.

However, something overlooked by all was a stipulation in Unlimited Rover that prohibited them from entering their points in any Contest Club.  Many in the past have achieved awards, plaques and high status from past VHF contesting efforts, and do not want to forfeit their positions of honour and glory locally.  Nice to walk up in front of many state or provincial fellow contesters and receive an award. 

As this is the first results showing for the new Unlimited Rover category, nobody knew who the competition was, but now that is becoming clearer.  Subject to change without notice, of course.
