[VHFcontesting] missing log grid circling and undocumented rovers

No, I can't go for that. If I work someone and it can't be proven that I
busted a callsign, I'd want it to stay in the log. If he's not a
"unique", he will be in others' logs too.
All I know is that I worked someone. I don't know if he was cheating or
if he is going to send in a log or not. Why should I lose a valid QSO?
This has always been the viewpoint of contest sponsors. You can't force
someone to send in a log and sometimes it's due to circumstances beyond a
person's control. I once had to go to another state suddenly without ham
equipment or computer right after November CW SS. I was gone from home
for two months. In the hurry I forgot all about the SS logs and didn't
get to send them in on time. And I caught you-know-what from the contest
club I am part of who wanted to see my log sent in!
There are always people around here who love VHF but aren't contesters and
get in on the contests on Sunday evening in the final six hours or so to
have some activity and give out some QSO's. Most of them don't send in
logs.
