That's also how I run WSJT-X during contests.  I don't use WSJT-X rig
control, just PTT on a COM port using a RigBlaster box.  The audio in/out
runs through the same RigBlaster but I've also run it direct into the radio
from the computer.  Works fine.

Rig control is handled by N1MM+ and my SO2R box and WSJT-X conflicts with
that.  I've tried running both at once, but I've yet to find a port sharing
program I like.
