[VHFcontesting] [NEWSVHF] Scheduling Multi-band QSOs in June VHF...

I recall reading an old passage in QST about VHFing in the early days. It
referred to the use of the minute hand of the clock or the opposite
direction as a beam position opportunity.
Was this true at one time ?
