[WL-USERS] Combining Logs

Dana,
I have been using WriteLog's ability to produce an Excel spreadsheet for
each contest or general dx qso. Then from Microsoft Access I import the
spreadsheet. Then I build an append query to map the fields I want over
into my master "Contacts" table. This has been working out fine for each
contest. I am saving the append queries under the assumption that when I
get to that same contest a year later the query will still be valid. It
only takes a few minutes to accomplish after each contest and you have the
excel spread sheet to do any analysis you want.
The only difficulty I have encountered seems to be a limit on Access not
importing more than 32 fields so I have had to delete some Excel columns at
times. Don't understand this limit yet.
