[Yaesu] Band Data connector splitter for 1KMP

Hi Joe....thanks for the advice....I cant be the only guy in the world
with a 1000MP and a FL7000 amp who wants to use the same band data for
an automatic decoder box (to switch antennas/filters etc.)... I am surprised
no one has asked this question before....

Ted,

I've never heard of a commercial splitter for the Band Data -
Yaesu provides a "loop through" connection in the FTV-1000
transverter so it's possible to connect both the MK V and
Quadra at the same time.   It would not be difficult to make
a "Y" cable but it would certainly be tedious and you would
need to take care to be sure that the FL-7000 and band decoder
had compatible voltages on the band data lines.

You might check with N4ATS since he's the FL-7000 expert.
