Obtain about 2 feet of clear, polycarbonate tubing at a plastics dealer.  
Plug one end.  Heat the middle with a 400-deg F heat gun.  Blow into the 
tubing when the plastic is soft.  The pressurized air keeps the tubing 
from closing during the next operation.  Bend the tubing into a ''U'' 
while blowing hard.  Let cool.  Heat and Bend a 90 into one end.    Blow 
through tubing to make sure it is open.  . Attach a long flexible tube to 
90ed end.   Fasten U to a T stand made of wood.  Fill the U about half 
way with a mix of water and a drop of food coloring.  Measure water 
column differential with a hand held ruler.  Dump water after making 
measurements to prevent algae growth.  .  Remember, if the tube blows 
clean out of the socket, use a smaller blower.
