Probably, but a look at the physical construction suggests that they are 
nowhere near their rating - there is at least 1/8" of plastic separating the 
large diameter pins.  My Yaesu rotators run up to 24 volts (I think) DC on the 
motors.

This has drifted pretty far into Towertalk's turf....
