That's what I get for researching controversial subjects<:-)) I find
paid think tanks spreading disinformation on some subjects. That makes
it difficult to argue when some one sees a PHD arguing for or against
something and I'm taking the other side. <:-)) with my 'ol Bachelors
degree. Even with computers (My degreed field) I see industry going in
directions where I was not allowed to tread due to regulations. Now
there's a bunch that will argue not just the finer points, but any point.

I too have a list of sites I consider to be reputable, but often like
the politicians if the site I reference doesn't agree with the "other
side" it must be bogus and then I have to research the whole
background. It's much like the BPL stance of a couple years back.

Agreed. There are a number of reflectors to which I subscribe where the
BS meter rarely even lifts off zero. OTOH there are other topics where
it seldom drops from the other end of the scale. <:-)) The breath and
depth of the knowledge on here is amazing and pretty much all
encompassing when it comes to amps.
