Reasons that you have not had a Millen connector arc:
A. You have not applied over 4-5 KV for an extended amount of time
B. You live in a very dry environment
C. Your mounting hole is much larger than the diameter of the connector.
D. If none of the above applies to you, you are extremely lucky, and should
purchase a power ball lottery ticket immediately!
