I haven't seen a problem with DOS programs yet with Win98 betas.  Not sure
whether I'm non-disclosed so I won't go into details. :)  I'll try out CT
this week.

Even NT, which has NOTHING to do with DOS, still lets you run CT and TR,
etc.  There's such a huge installed base of DOS software that MS can't
completely walk away from it (lots of new Win 3.1x systems shipped in 97,
believe it or not).  I also bet that most of us won't be upgrading to Win98
right away; not a lot in there that would compel one to do so (at least,
that's what I read in the trade press!).

Still Dave's point that relying on DOS isn't a solid path into the future
seems like a good one to me.
