Perhaps if there is enough interest a separate contest committee could
sponsor, score and award a 24 hour contest on the same weekend with the same
operating rules, except for duration, as the 48 hour contest. Perhaps noon,
+/- time zone, on Saturday, till noon Sunday, +/- time zone.

The rules might allow a given station to enter both contests, or might not.
Separate question.

My 1.5 cents worth.
