I am so excited about the next contest.
!!!NOW I CAN DO IT RIGHT!!!

I did it, I traded.
I am now the proud owner of an IC-728.

The ones of you who suggested the IC-728 for contesting *were right* (at
least for me for right now) and I *sure do* appreciate your input.

I talked to a lot of other people as well about the rig itself, one who
is even a retired Technician from Icom America and he even told me it
was a *very* good and a *trouble free* rig except for a couple of caps
that need to be changed to ceramic.

I don't think I could have done *any* better for my price bracket right
now.

The only problem is now I can't figure out how to connect it to my
computer. Looks like there is more to it than just a simple CI-V cable.

Anybody have any references I can go to for some *effective* yet simple
cabling I can make myself?

Or some cheap ones I can buy?

7&3 fer nw,
Bob

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code
there in the first place is out front of it all.
