I expect you would hear some protests from the FCG, whose FQP may
usually be the fourth weekend in April, but the fourth and the last
weekend are often the same. The Florida QSO Party is one of the most
popular QSO parties. I know you can't move it without moving onto some
other contest's traditional date, but you probably don't want to move it
on the regular weekend for NEQP/7th Dist QP, CA, WA (Salmon Run), FL,
GA, OH, MI, VA, NC, MN, TX QP weekends. I really don't know where you
draw the line, but you can sure that there will be unhappy clubs and
contesters out there if you choose the last weekend in April. 73, John,
K4BAI.

P.S. There is NO contest of any kind that I can find (except for a RSGB
80M contest that takes place in the daytime in the US) this weekend. I
think that is because there are five weekends in July this year and the
RSGB IOTA contest apparently occurs on the last weekend, not the fourth
weekend, in July. So, every few years, it opens up the fourth weekend
in July for a contest. Nobody took advantage of it this year. Too bad
MARAC which sponsors the US counties contests next weekend conflicting
with RSGB IOTA didn't take advantage of that for this year at least.
