Exactly.
A telephone call is a conversation between people. What difference does it
make if the conversation is in person or on the phone?
So with a QSO, in which the connection uses RF, is it not a conversation
between people because one is hooked to the RF via internet?
Just because the QSO wouldn't take place without the internet is a red
herring. It is no different than a telephone conversation that wouldn't take
place without the wires to the central office or the RF to the cell site.
