Thank you for your illuminating post regarding DQs in the 2016 CQWW SSB
contest.
Because CQ Magazine is not able to stick to their shipping schedule, this
discussion grew beyond what was necessary because not everyone has the
digital subscription. I have previously suggested to CQ Magazine's editor
that given their inability to deliver a paper magazine on time, they should
give subscribers to the paper version a free subscription to the digital
version until they can get their house in order and deliver their magazine
in a timely fashion. It would cost them nothing to do so and reduce the bad
PR they get every month when the paper edition is delivered late. It might
actually increase digital subscriptions when they are back on schedule with
the paper edition because if you like reading the digital edition, you will
subscribe after the freebie. They declined. IMHO, that reflects poorly on
their business acumen.
