As K8MR points out, there are numerous ways to increase he fun in
contesting.  But we don't have to wait for the rules to be changed.  If
someone is to use 2 or more calls in a contest, it is a given that they are
not going to win or come in top 10 SOAB.  So therefore, just do it for the
fun, and submit the logs as checklogs.  If you are not competing, the rules
don't apply.  And if you are only submitting your log to allow better cross
checking, then the log submission is to help the organizer.  If they get
their nose bent of joint, then just don't submit the logs at all.

 

"by submitting a log you agree to the rules of the contest"  - which also
means - f you don't submit a log, the rules don't apply to you.
