My point was the $5 charge is BS. You don't have to have the phone line 
connected, that's the bottom line. If Dish Network is not flexible enough to 
allow a customer to "not have a phone line", then I would find another 
supplier who is a little more customer friendly. Why not tell them you don't 
have a landline?
