Hi Mike:

I have tried the following mics:

TT 701
TT 705
Heil
Radio Shack
Astatic D-104

Did not like any of the above. Have settled on the Shure 526T. By
rewiring the base with white wire direct to amp board and using the yellow
wire for 9VDC from the Jupiter going direct to amp board, thus not using the
9V Batt. in the mic. Run blue wire to ground in mic 4 pin TT connector as
well as shield, connect yellow to 9VDC pin, red to PTT pin and of course
white to Audio pin.

The Shure 526T is available from Amateur Electronic Supply.

73's
Jack, W7EJJ

This way I have PTT and VOX without any switching on the mic. Just
select VOX on the Jupiter or not.

The Shure is dynamic, but has built in amp and gain control knob on
base. By far best set-up I have tried and I'm getting good audio reports.
