The Jupiter screen should stay at showing the "Pegasus Horse" all the time
the jupiter is in emualtion mode.  If it changes back to showing frequency
and mode, that means the PC program has stopped "talking" to the jupiter.
So, your jupiter is not working either.  Sounds like something is definitely
wrong with your PC or your windows installation.

Send me an email at n4py@earthlink.net and I can send you a demo version of
my software to try but it sounds like that is not the problem.
