C'mon George - that's not at all comparable.   It's not in the least bit
"just like the Icom situation".

There was no "new radio to be purchased" - the Orion is substantially
different from the Pegasus and the Jupiter, and all three of these are
still available at present.   The Jupiter has been the best-selling 100
watt rig we've had out since the 1980's - I would venture to say that
given its heritage with the very successful Pegasus (the two rigs
being identical except for front-panel control on the Jupiter)
- that we "got it right" the first time.
